About

I am currently the program manager for the Women's Mental Health Program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. My duties include providing administrative, financial, and operational oversight for various funded research studies; preparation of NIH and private grant funding submissions; maintenance of regulatory materials for all research studies; coordination of day-to-day research activities, including management of junior research personnel; providing scientific and statistical assistance to Principal Investigators on grants and manuscripts.

I completed similar work in previous roles such as the Manager of Epidemiological Support at the World Trade Center Health Registry unit at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Additional duties included: assisting in scientific management such as project proposal review, data analysis, and manuscript preparation; participating in the design and implementation of registry surveys; and providing consultation and staff mentoring on statistical and epidemiological research methods. Also, as Project Manager in the Experimental Psychopathology Laboratory at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, I managed various multi-site clinical trials that aim to assess the effects of aerobic exercise and sleep quality on neurocognition and functioning in people with schizophrenia.

I completed my Psychiatry Postdoctoral Fellowship in the PRISM Psychosis Research Program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where projects included studying the cognitive heterogeneity of bipolar and psychosis disorders, and implementing pharmacological interventions aimed at improving cognitive and functional outcome in these same disorders.

In addition to my work in neuropsychiatric research, I have worked as a college adjunct lecturer and taught courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, Experimental Psychology, and Physiological Psychology. Other research interests and expertise include affective science, psychophysiological methods, and data analytics.
